Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for our area. We are expecting this to transition into a Tropical Storm Warning and or a Hurricane Warning by tomorrow afternoon.
Please take this storm serious. Plan for a lot of rain, high winds, and the possibility of some tornadoes. Power outages are very likely as well. Current timing projections put us getting higher winds Thursday evening. Finish your prep now.

🚨 Traffic Advisory 🚨
Please be advised that there will be traffic disruptions along North Houston Road on Saturday, September 21st between 8:30am and 10:30am due to two major events: the Houston Healthcare 5K and the Georgia Golden Olympics. We encourage you to plan ahead and consider alternate routes if traveling through the area.
See the attached maps for specifics.

Please be advised that the City Hall Annex and Law Enforcement Center are currently experiencing a power outage. Crews are actively working to resolve the issue. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
