Warner Robins, Georgia - The City of Warner Robins is proud to announce that two members of the Warner Robins Fire Department were recognized by the Georgia Firefighters Association during Firefighter Recognition Week at a statewide ceremony held on Tuesday, February 3, in Atlanta.
During Firefighter Recognition Day, Firefighter Joshua Theus was honored as the Georgia Rookie Firefighter of the Year, and Engineer Lee White received the prestigious Georgia Firefighter of the Year award. These state-level honors recognize firefighters who demonstrate exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public service.
“Being recognized at the state level is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the hard work, discipline, and dedication these firefighters bring to their profession every day,” said Fire Chief Albert Wright. “Firefighter Theus and Engineer White exemplify the values of the Warner Robins Fire Department, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and service to our community.”
Firefighter Recognition Week provides an opportunity to highlight the critical role firefighters play in protecting lives, property, and public safety across Georgia. The recognition of Firefighter Theus and Engineer White reflects the Warner Robins Fire Department’s core values of Leadership, Empowerment, and Professionalism, and the department’s continued commitment to excellence in service.
