City of Warner Robins property tax bills will be mailed to property owners on January 09, 2026, with a due date of March 13, 2026. We anticipate property tax bills being available online sometime between December 22 and January 1. Those property owners who have setup an online tax account with the City will be able to view their bill online by visiting https://www.wrga.gov/page/tax and selecting the “View/Pay Taxes” link near the top of the page.
Property tax payments can be made and accepted at City Hall as soon as they are available online.
Why are bills later than usual?
We are later than usual in setting our millage rate and mailing property tax bills due to technical issues related to an old, legacy software system that is being replaced and our desire to be especially careful this year to ensure that our bills fully account for the reductions provided by the new statewide floating homestead exemption. Neither of these issues will exist for next year’s millage rate and billing.
What is the City’s property tax millage rate?
The City of Warner Robins proposes to hold our property tax millage rate for 2025 at the same level as last year’s historically low rate, 8.953 mills. This means that only those property owners who experience an increase in value due to a reassessment by the Houston County or Peach County Board of Tax Assessors will see an increase in the dollar amount they pay in taxes this year.
The final public hearing to set the City’s property tax millage rate is scheduled for December 15 beginning at 4:00 PM at City Hall. For more information, please visit https://www.wrga.gov/article/2559858
