City of Warner Robins Announces September Food Truck Roundup “Go Green” Night in Partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters

Warner Robins, Georgia - The City of Warner Robins invites the community to attend the September Food Truck Roundup on Thursday, September 18th, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Perkins Field. This month’s theme, “Go Green Night,” encourages everyone to show their support for mentoring by wearing green in honor of the incredible mentors in our community.

In partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the evening is more than just delicious food and family fun, it’s also an opportunity to learn more about becoming a mentor, or a “Big.” Representatives will be on-site to share how you can make a difference in the life of a child through this impactful program.

Event Highlights:

  • Go Green Night: Celebrate community mentors by wearing green.

  • Live Entertainment: Enjoy music throughout the evening from local favorite Cam Vance.

  • Food Trucks: From barbecue to seafood, sweet treats to international eats, enjoy a wide variety of options including ABC Catering, Black Pearl, C&C Ice Cream, Donut NV, Fon’s Food & Catering, Kimika Latina, King’s Que & More, Kona Ice, Miracle Family Food Trailer, Nanny’s Stuff Concessions, Shiver Shack, Smitty’s Boiling Crab Pot, Superb Grill, Taste of Creole, Tasting at the Burrough, LaVino, Tipsy Peach, and Wartown Tap House.

  • Kids Zone Fun: Inflatables by Middle GA Inflatables, face painting from MaarBear’s Body Art, balloon art, Middle GA Gellyball, an A-1 Gaming Truck, photo booth, and special visits from Wizard of Oz characters Glinda, Elphaba, and Dorothy.

“This event is the perfect way for families to enjoy an evening together while also supporting such a meaningful cause,” said Mayor LaRhonda W. Patrick. “We are proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters and hope to see many in our community step up to become a Big.”
