LaRhonda Patrick of Warner Robins Elected as GMA Director at Large

ATLANTA – LaRhonda Patrick, Mayor of the City of Warner Robins, has been elected as Director at Large for Georgia Municipal Association’s (GMA)'s 2025–2026 term.

Patrick was officially sworn in during GMA’s Annual Convention held in Savannah from June 20- 24.

“We are honored to have Mayor Patrick serve in this leadership capacity,” said Larry Hanson, CEO and Executive Director of GMA. “She brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and insight that will benefit the municipalities of District Nine and the entire GMA organization.”

As Director at large, Mayor Patrick will assist the board in implementing GMA policies, advocating on behalf of cities, and supporting efforts to strengthen local governance through training and networking.

The 66-member board consists of active city officials, primarily mayors and councilmembers, from across the state. Seats are also designated for the presidents of the Georgia City-County Management Association, the Georgia Municipal Clerks Association, and the GMA City Attorneys Sections, as well as the chair of the Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System Board of Trustees.

GMA’s Board of Directors provides general oversight and guidance to the 537-member organization, adopts governance policies and advocates for cities’ legislative interests at the state and federal levels.
