2023 PGA HOPE Graduates

In a heartwarming celebration of achievement, we extend our sincerest congratulations to the Veterans who have successfully completed the PGA HOPE program. Their dedication to this transformative journey deserves a standing ovation, and we are honored to spotlight their accomplishments.

PGA HOPE's Impactful Mission:

PGA HOPE, right here in Warner Robins, is making a significant impact by introducing golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military, enriching their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. Under the guidance of PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency, the program unfolds through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum.

Collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA):

An integral aspect of PGA HOPE's success lies in its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This unique collaboration enables direct referrals to the program as a therapeutic outlet, contributing to the overall well-being of our heroes.

National and Local Presence:

On a national scale, PGA HOPE boasts 162 programs across the country, with Warner Robins proudly standing among the 9 locations in the state of Georgia. This local presence emphasizes the commitment to providing our community with valuable resources for Veterans and Military personnel.

Addressing a Critical Issue:

In 2021, a sobering statistic revealed that an estimated 17.5 Veterans died by suicide every day. PGA HOPE has undertaken the mission to change this alarming trend by harnessing the power of golf as a potent form of therapy.

As we reflect on the achievements of our Veterans and the impactful work of PGA HOPE, we invite you to join us in spreading the word. Share this blog post to amplify the awareness of PGA HOPE's positive influence on our community, supporting our heroes on their journey to improved well-being through the game of golf.
