Residency Challenge Ruling

After receiving evidence at a hearing held on September 3rd challenging the candidacy of city council candidate Kevin Lashley, City Election Superintendent Michelle Riley has determined that Mr. Lashley is qualified to seek and hold city council Post 4. Three challenges were submitted and based on the residency of Mr. Lashley for the period prescribed by Georgia law to seek the office.
