Warner Robins accepting applications for CHIP Grants (August 2022)

The City of Warner Robins has been awarded for the first time a Community Home Investment Program Grant or CHIP Grant. This program allows for home owners occupying a single family residence to apply for a grant for repairs to their home. These repairs can include HVAC, plumbing, a new roof, or new windows. 

 

Warner Robins plans $1.6M, six-acre retail and housing development near Commercial Circle

The City of Warner Robins has entered into a purchase and sales agreement to position Commercial Circle for reinvestment opportunities. 

 

Houston County Schools Named Georgia's Best Employer 

The Houston County School District has been named the best employer in the state of Georgia by Forbes. Of 100 large employers in the state, the District is in first place.

Warner Robins appoints new director of Community and Economic Development (August 2021)

Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms and members of City Council appointed Kate Hogan as the new director of the Community and Economic Development Department.  Hogan worked as Director of Economic Development and Marketing for the city of Centerville for the past 5 years.

Robins Air Force Base set to open software lab (March 2020)

The Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex and community partners are bringing a software laboratory to Houston County.  A ceremony was held on Thursday at the future facility near Park Place Drive. This will be the second software operation established outside the air force base gates in 2020.
