RIDE ALONG PROGRAM |
| The police ride along program is established to allow citizens to ride with a police officer during the officer’s tour of duty for the purposes of acquainting him/her with the nature of the police patrol function. As part of the community oriented policing concept, the WRPD Ride-Along Program fosters citizens better understanding the role WRPD holds in the community and builds better citizen-police communication. The completed documents (can be downloaded below) must be submitted to Capt. John Clay at least three (3) working days in advance of the requested ride-along date and time.
