Level 1 Drought restrictions for City of Warner Robins

Warner Robins, GA – The Georgia Environmental Protection Division declared a portion of the State, including Warner Robins and Houston County, to be in a Drought Level 1 condition. As water sources throughout the State reach critical low levels it is imperative that all water system users make every effort to reduce non-essential water use.

Effective immediately, the City of Warner Robins is asking residents to reduce water consumption. Hot temperatures and the lack of rain have created increased demands on our water system.

The voluntary water restriction is a precaution to keep water stored in our aquifer at an acceptable level for critical activities such as firefighting, drinking and cooking.

Until further notice, residents are asked to adhere to water conservation measures:

Watering lawn, gardens and trees only between the hours of 4:00 pm till 10:00 am.

. Check for water leaks inside and outside of your home.

Don’t leave tap water running while shaving, brushing teeth and washing hands and face.

All water conservation measures will help decrease the demand on the City’s water system.
